PROMOTION TIME!

Yup, it had to come. Leah wanted to be a real part of our meal times, including supper.
So, we decided that on most week ends we all sit together as a family and eat just a tad earlier than usual (for Mom and Dad, that is).
Luckily Leah's high chair fits perfectly under our table and she feels like a BIG GIRL!




She is also learning to use the dreaded cutlery!

"But Mom, you told me that in Africa they eat with their hands." "Yes, but we are in England now, so use your spoon!"

Leah is still trying to get her tastebuds around chicken but the veg and fruit go down well, which is just as important. She is making a good attempt to eat the food that Mom and Dad eat.

Once she can talk for real we will really be able to know what she really wants during meal times.

For now, she eats what she gets. Poor girl. Life is so hard. And I have to feed myself now. Shaaah, what sort of parents are these? Gone are the days of luxury and pampering.

Actually, she is loving the independence and screeches when we feed her too much! She wants to do it.
