DADDY TURNS 31!



We all woke excited to know that there was a birthday and celebration in the household today. We did the traditional opening of pressies in bed with lots of lovely gifts sent from all over. Thanks to you all.

Daddy came home a little earlier so that Leah could enjoy some yummy birthday meal with us. Dad's request was home made pizza and chocolate fudge cake. So I did something diferent and made two huge pizzas which we almost got through. Toppings included, bacon, mushrooms, pineapple with soft cheese. The other half has caramelised onions and peperoni with mom and leah enjoying a vegie one with olives, courgettes and mushrooms. YUM.

The most important, of course .... the candles on the cake. Leah helped mommy put them in the cake and was sooo excited she could not wait for happy birthday song to be sung so that she could 'blow candle' 'blow candle'. Great to have kids this age with birthdays ... Leah really enjoyed it and I guess she has hers to look forward to in just over a weeks time.
