BEACHVIEW ON FIRE!

We had some very hot and windy weather which encouraged a few veld fires to erupt. Unfortunately piles of wood mounted a couple of metres high left by developers of the land behind our house went up in smoke!

Firefighters worked for a good 5-6 days to kill the fire .... eventually it subsided and then the clean up started as our house was covered in ash! Could have been worse, at least our house was safe!
